July 17, 20, and 22, 2011: Coro Diminuto is performing the Cuba premiere of "Far Away" with a video projection of The National Children's Chorus in Havana's Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the Teatro Mella, and a special performance in the countryside of Pinar del Rio, the world's capital of tobacco growing. Also on tour is the Cuban percussion and string ensemble Frasis.

July 14 - 20, 2011:   Far Away exhibits in the form of a video installation presented by MALDEF in downtown Los Angeles.  The exhibit will run from noon - 8pm and  will coincide with TCG's 50 Annual National Theatre Conference.

June 16 - 26, 2011: The Closest Farthest Away exhibits at the 2011 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space.

January 2011: The script of The Closest Farthest Away was published in TheatreForum issue #38. It was accompanied by an introduction written by collaborator Joy Tomasko along with many photographs of the Cuban and Miami productions.

December 18, 2010: The National Children's Chorus performed the US premiere of "Far Away" with a video projection of Coro Diminuto at their winter concert "Nuestra Música" in Santa Monica's Broad Stage.

December 18, 2010: The music soundtrack of The Closest Farthest Away was released from online music stores. This album features 9 songs composed and recorded collaboratively by Sage Lewis with nearly 100 musicians in Los Angeles and Havana.

March 11 - 14, 2010:  US Premiere of The Closest Farthest Away in Miami presented by Miami Light Project, Centro Cultural Español and FUNDarte

December 4 - 6, 2009: World Premiere of The Closest Farthest Away at the Havana Film Festival.  Performed in the historic Teatro Mella.
