| This soundtrack features modern musical aesthetics emerging throughout Havana and Los Angeles. Nine rare cross-genre compositions fuse diverse Cuban-American musical traditions including contemporary classical, changüí, timba, batá, nueva trova, indie pop, and hip-hop. Each song was written and recorded throughout multiple trips between Havana and Los Angeles creating collaborations with musicians from Cuba and California’s most current contemporary underground music scenes. |
